The Jewish “year” is interesting in that the climax, the high-point comes right at the beginning. We are hardly back from the summer vacation than the High Holy Days in all their awe are upon us, followed closely by the joyous celebration of Sukkot and Simchat Torah. From that point onwards, the rest of the year proceeds, racing towards Chanukah and then Purim and Pesach. And in some ways we seem to concentrate on the Holidays and celebrations, sometimes to the exclusion of the ordinary, the everyday.

But life is mostly about the everyday things. We're back into the swing of things, the everyday swing of things. The pre-school, the Hebrew school , Bar/Batmitzvah training, daily and Shabbat services, Adult Ed courses, in fact all the activities that encompass synagogue life are operating at full speed.

Adath Israel offers Judaism and Jewish inspiration not only for the Holidays, the Voices of Shabbat, Friday Night Alive and Family Shabbatot, and the B'nei Mitzvah celebrations. We offer daily Minyanim, morning and evening, for those who are saying Kaddish, but equally as importantly, for those who just want to come and pray and meditate, and start or end their day with a few minutes of nourishment for their Jewish “Neshoma”.

We invite all to come and partake in what we offer everyday - be part of the pursuit of Daily Judaism, mornings at 7.30 AM and evenings at 6 PM, Friday evenings at 7:00 PM, Shabbat and Sundays 9AM and 5 PM.
