Warm Place. Cool Shul.
Eight years ago, we embarked on an ambitious project to bring Adath Israel's facility and finances to a position of strength as we move into the next generations. With the help of generous donors, the Hineni Campaign has fulfilled the following promises:
- We have raised over $8 million with the help of approximately 300 members within the Adath Israel community. We replaced our roof and completely reimagined and redesigned the Mandell Sanctuary which is both beautiful and more accessible.
- The Mandell Sanctuary has won six prestigious design awards. This phase was accomplished both on time and within budget.
- We have received the promised funding for a $1 million endowment fund which will grant us much needed budget relief for the foreseeable future.
We are now entering the final phase of the campaign and we need to raise the last $2 million by December 31, 2018. This phase will include a refurbished lobby, a main entrance (facing Old Lancaster Road) that is accessible and welcoming to all, a beautiful and environmentally pleasing courtyard, and improved and secure parking. Construction is scheduled to begin in February 2019. Our goal is to have 100% participation in this campaign.
At the conclusion of the Hineni Campaign, we will have kept our promise to significantly innovate and modernize our synagogue without accumulating long-term debt and by achieving a stronger financial position.

Thank you for helping to make this dream a reality.
