Warm Place. Cool Shul.
The Hineni Committee consists of Debbie Gross, Lisa Sandler, Cathy Miller, Elliott Miller, Rabbi Eric Yanoff, and Lauren Marks-Cabañas. We have been busy these past several months with numerous meetings and conference calls with the architects and project managers as well as our involvement with the township approval process. The final plans are beginning to take shape and we are very excited to share them with you. Cathy Miller has agreed to be our liaison to the congregation. If you have questions, comments or concerns, please contact Cathy at [email protected]
We are proud and excited to announce that our magnificent new Mandell Sanctuary recently won an award at the 2015 AIA Philadelphia Design Awards. The awards ceremony was held on Wednesday, October 14th at the National Museum of American Jewish History. Prior to the ceremony, pictures of our sanctuary, bimah and ark were displayed at Liberty Place in Philadelphia. We are currently working with our contractors and architects to make some finishing touches to the sanctuary to ensure that our beautiful space continues to be warm and inviting, as well as functional.
Of course, we are not done yet! We continue to meet with donors, as we define Phase 3 of the Hineni Campaign and our building renovations. We will continue to provide updates of our fundraising progress and, ultimately, our renovation plans. If you have not yet had the opportunity to be a part of this exciting time in Adath Israel's history, we encourage you to join us! Please feel free to contact us with any questions or comments you may have.
