Observe, rejoice and participate in spiritual and cultural holidays throughout the year. Our High Holiday services begin with Selichot and continue through Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. All High Holiday services are held in our beautiful and inspiring sanctuary. On the second night of Rosh Hashanah, the congregation heads to nearby Merion Park for Tashlich services.
We welcome Sukkot in our spacious Sukkah where we hold all Sukkot programs (weather permitting). All generations have the opportunity to shake the lulav and etrog in the sukkah. From early childhood through adulthood, everyone can enjoy the many blessings of our Sukkah. Rejoice over the Torah during a jubilant Simchat Torah service filled with song, dance, and a parade of flags.
Come in costume to our unforgettable Purim service in which the Rabbis, staff and congregants read the entire Megillah and perform the annual Purim Shpiel. Join your synagogue family for the Second Seder on Pesach when we re-tell the story of the exodus from Egypt and share traditional foods and Seder traditions together.
In late spring we celebrate Shavuot - the anniversary of the day God gave the Torah to the entire Israelite nation assembled at Mount Sinai - with services and learning late into the night.
Daily services are held at different times throughout the week. Click here for the schedule, or call our main office at 610-934-1919 for the most up-to-date information.
