Weekday and Shabbat Services

Our Minyan Needs You!

One of the ways that the Adath Israel Community supports one another is with daily morning and evening minyan services.

Without a minyan present, it is not possible for us to read Torah or for those in mourning to say a proper Kaddish. If you have the opportunity to join us, please do, even if only upon occasion.

Regular Service Schedule:

Mondays and Thursdays
7:15 am and 6:00 pm

Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays
7:30 am and 6:00 pm

9:15 am and 5:00 pm

Sundays and Holidays

TestphotoMinyan Breakfast

Breakfast is provided for all morning minyan attendees Monday through Friday, funded by the Arthur Pottash Minyan Breakfast Fund. To sponsor a Minyan Breakfast, please contact the office at 610-934-1919.

Unique Worship Opportunities:

Friday Night Alive

Throughout the year, we offer this enriching and exciting service filled with music and ruach that touches the soul. The melodies are lively and infectious and the service is punctuated with many spontaneous dances. Everyone sings, dances and shares in the joy of Shabbat.

Shabbat a la Carte

A Shabbat Feast for the Mind, Body and Soul. This outside-the-box celebration of Shabbat offers multiple opportunities for congregants of all ages to participate in spiritual and communal programming. From Torah Yoga to alternative worship services; puppet shows to Torah study, this unique Shabbat experience provides a special time for our community to be together for Shabbat while fulfilling our individual needs.

Mini Minyan & Tefillah Time

Services are offered throughout the entire year, led by our MAKOM staff and our enthusiastic parent community. These groups are appropriate for all toddlers through grade 6.

Torah Study with Michael Stein

Torah Study takes place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM every Saturday morning as an alternative to our Shabbat morning service. The group explores the weekly Torah portion from many perspectives. All are welcome to join and participate in the discussion. No prior knowledge is necessary to attend.

Carlebach Melodies Service & Themed Shabbat Dinner

Our Carlebach melodies service brings out the spirit of Friday Night to the tunes of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach. Optional dinners typically following the service with RSVP to the main office in advance.
