Honors and Awards
The Adath Israel curriculum has been used as a model for training across the Philadelphia metropolitan area and around the country.
Our curriculum has been recognized for excellence with a Gold Solomon Schechter Award from the United Synagogue for Conservative Judaism (USCJ).
Adath Israel Religious School was named as an ACAJE/JLV Ner Tamid School for having developed an ongoing professional development plan for the faculty.
Adath Israel was one of the first schools in the U.S. to participate in the LeV initiative.
In recognition of having established high standards of education in the religious school, USCJ named Adath Israel Religious School as a Framework of Excellence School, which recognizes the collaboration between the educational staff, rabbis, congregation and parents. Through this collaborative effort, the entire synagogue has a vested interest in the Jewish education and lifelong learning.
