High Holiday Food Drive

During the High Holiday season each year, Adath Israel collects Kosher canned goods in partnership with the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia's High Holiday Food Drive. Congregants are invited to nourish families in need by dropping off donations of canned fish, beans, and nut butters.

Last year, we collected 6,500 pounds of canned goods, which went directly to individuals and families struggling with food insecurity in the Philadelphia area. The donations collected by all of the Jewish Federation's High Holiday Food Drive partners feed 3,200 families and supply five months of food pantry stock!
